About the role
We are looking for a reliable General Warehouse and Chemical Storage Worker to join our West Rand team in Gauteng. The role involves handling chemical drums, pallets, and containers safely while supporting daily logistics operations.
Key responsibilities
- Move chemical drums, pallets, and containers within the storage unit using approved equipment.
- Load outgoing trucks and unload incoming stock, ensuring no leaks or spills.
- Verify stock quantities against delivery notes and report any damage or shortages.
- Follow strict health and safety procedures, wear required PPE, and respond to minor spill incidents.
- Maintain a clean and obstacle‑free storage area to ensure a safe work environment.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Valid Hazardous Goods Handling or Dangerous Goods Training certification compliant with South African regulations.
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or chemical handling setting.
- Good physical health to lift heavy stock and follow safety instructions.
