General Practitioner – Private Practice Opportunity

About the role

Healthfort Clinics is a modern medical and sports‑wellness hub in Milnerton, Cape Town. The practice is seeking a qualified General Practitioner to run a private‑practice style clinic within a shared‑services environment, focusing on high‑quality patient care while benefiting from administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general medical consultations and minor procedures.
• Participate in mandatory after‑hours (16:00‑20:00) and weekend (09:00‑16:00) rotations on a roster basis.
• Collaborate with on‑site physiotherapists, orthopaedic specialists and wellness practitioners.
• Work with the Healthfort support team to grow and manage your practice.
• Engage in networking and brand‑building activities to attract patients.

Required profile

• MBChB (or equivalent) with a valid HPCSA registration.
• Independent practice licence.
• Willingness to operate as an independent contractor within a shared‑services model.
• Previous private‑practice experience is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Healthbridge billing platform.
• Experience using RecoMed for appointment management.
