General Manager – Enterprise Applications

About the role

Mediclinic is seeking a senior leader to own and drive the Business Systems portfolio across the enterprise. The General Manager will be responsible for strategy, roadmap, and delivery of all non‑clinical systems such as SAP, HR, and CRM, ensuring they are secure, scalable and aligned with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the Business Systems strategy and roadmap, aligning platforms with digital transformation goals.
• Establish enterprise architecture standards and govern solution design for integrated, secure systems.
• Oversee demand management, prioritisation, and lifecycle governance to ensure successful implementation and value realization.
• Manage integration, data enablement and platform scalability across all non‑clinical applications.
• Lead and develop high‑performing technical teams, fostering capability and succession.
• Ensure risk, compliance and security governance, including audit readiness and disaster recovery.
• Engage stakeholders, manage vendor contracts and budgets to deliver cost‑effective services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant SAP certification.
• Proven senior‑level experience leading enterprise‑wide business systems or IT portfolios.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
