General Foreman – Residential Construction

About the role

The General Foreman will report to the Director and oversee daily construction activities on a high‑end residential development. This full‑time position ensures that work is carried out to plan, quality standards, and schedule while maintaining a safe site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site operations and ensure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Allocate tasks, monitor productivity, and coordinate labour and subcontractors for efficient workflow.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations through regular inspections and hazard identification.
• Inspect ongoing work to verify compliance with approved drawings, building codes, and quality expectations.
• Plan and oversee delivery, storage, and use of materials, tools, and equipment to avoid delays and waste.
• Provide regular progress updates to the project manager, maintain site records, and address risks or delays promptly.

Required profile

• Relevant construction qualification.
• Proven experience in high‑end residential projects.

Required skills

• Proficient in MS Office.
