About the role

The Furniture Consultant provides expertise in furnishing, décor, and household appliances, delivering personalized recommendations and engaging with customers. The role includes completing sales transactions and staying updated with the latest trends and product releases.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience as a brand ambassador for @Home.
• Build meaningful customer relationships by understanding needs and providing tailored furnishing and lifestyle solutions.
• Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales and service targets.
• Drive sales through consultative selling, relationship building, and effective closing techniques.
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement.
• Convert enquiries into sales using excellent product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain thorough understanding of products, promotions, and industry trends.
• Ensure showroom presentation, merchandising standards, and stock levels are maintained to the highest standard.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
• Experience in a target‑driven or commission‑based sales environment, preferably with premium or luxury products.
• Strong customer engagement and relationship‑building abilities.
