Functional Consultant – Investment Modelling

About the role

We are seeking a Functional Consultant specialized in investment modelling to support our clients in real‑estate financial forecasting, scenario analysis, valuations and portfolio optimisation. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, translating client strategies into effective software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, customise and implement investment modelling software for real‑estate financial forecasting and portfolio optimisation.
• Understand client property investment strategies and align software solutions with business goals.
• Lead product implementation within agreed scope and timelines, collaborating with clients and internal teams.
• Translate client requirements into precise documentation and actionable solutions.
• Provide training, workshops and ongoing support to ensure effective platform adoption.
• Troubleshoot technical and modelling issues to maintain reliable and accurate solutions.
• Manage workload, flag potential delays and maintain agreed deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, managing expectations and prioritising feedback.
• Share knowledge and mentor peers to strengthen team capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3‑5 years of experience in the property industry, preferably with financial or property investment platforms.
• Strong understanding of property investment, real‑estate markets and financial modelling principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and client‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder expectations simultaneously.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to deliver results under minimal supervision.
