Full‑Stack .NET Developer (12‑month contract)

About the role

Paracon is looking for a contract Full‑Stack .NET Developer to join the Information Communication Services (ICS) Department for a 12‑month project. The role is based in Bellville, Cape Town and requires the candidate to work onsite, fully dedicated to this engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in planning, requirements gathering, deployment and rollout of enterprise‑wide systems.
• Collaborate with analysts, project managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test and maintain both backend and frontend components of the application.
• Perform unit and system testing, troubleshoot issues, and deliver bug fixes and enhancements.
• Conduct code reviews and coordinate release of change requests.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, system administration, and user access management.

Required profile

• At least 3‑5 years of experience in full‑stack .NET development.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be based in Cape Town for the duration of the contract.
