Full-Stack Shopify Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Shopify Developer to own and evolve a high‑impact eCommerce platform in South Africa. You will shape a Shopify‑based storefront that supports complex B2B operations, delivering seamless customer experiences and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Manage site architecture, digital content, and SEO to improve usability and conversion.
• Integrate Shopify with ERP, CRM, PIM, payment gateways and other external systems via APIs.
• Configure and maintain Shopify apps and plugins to extend functionality.
• Ensure product listings are accurate, structured, and optimized for search.
• Monitor and improve site performance, speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall UX.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to platform functionality and third‑party services.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
• Analyze website and customer data using analytics tools to identify optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Shopify or eCommerce developer with hands‑on store management.
• Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Solid experience integrating Shopify with external systems (ERP, CRM) via APIs.
• Familiarity with Shopify apps, plugins, and third‑party ecosystem tools.
• Understanding of SEO principles and eCommerce best practices.
• Analytical mindset with experience using Google Analytics.
• Good grasp of UX/UI principles and customer‑journey optimization.
