Full-Stack Python Engineer

About the role

pubGENIUS is seeking a Full‑Stack Python Engineer to own the design, development, scaling, and maintenance of robust web applications for a range of clients in the US and Europe. You will work on both client‑facing products and internal systems, collaborating closely with at least one other developer and receiving guidance from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using Python and JavaScript frameworks.
• Scale applications to meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Integrate front‑end interfaces built with React.js or Next.js with back‑end services.
• Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and other developers to deliver client projects on time.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Solid experience with Node.js and server‑side JavaScript.
• Frontend experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
• Comfortable working with relational and non‑relational databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
