Full Stack Developer (PHP/Vue.js) – Hybrid – Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer to join a fast‑growing FinTech platform. You will build high‑volume, secure applications, develop robust backend services and create intuitive web interfaces while working in a hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services.
• Implement responsive web layouts using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to deliver features in an agile environment.
• Integrate cloud‑native solutions and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Debug, optimise, and ensure the security of applications.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong backend development background with a focus on clean, secure services.
• Willingness to work with PHP (experience beneficial but not mandatory).
• Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and UI frameworks.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analytical mindset with solid debugging skills.
• Comfortable working in Scrum teams.
