French‑Speaking Marketing Executive

About the role

Energy Capital & Power (ECP) is seeking a French‑speaking Marketing Executive to design and execute marketing campaigns for its energy projects across Francophone Africa. You will work closely with the Marketing Director, Marketing Lead and cross‑functional teams to drive strategic and commercial objectives through digital, event‑based and corporate communications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy in collaboration with senior marketing leaders.
• Create and distribute promotional electronic newsletters (HTML & text), conduct A/B testing and optimise based on performance insights.
• Plan and execute social‑media content across channels, ensuring alignment with the broader marketing plan.
• Maintain and optimise company websites, applying SEO best practices to improve user journey.
• Utilise digital tools such as mobile apps, survey platforms, GA4, HubSpot, GleanIn, Canva and Adobe Suite to enhance campaign effectiveness.
• Manage sponsor and exhibitor promotional campaigns and support the programming team with speaker and ambassador marketing packs.
• Coordinate design and production of marketing collateral, videos, banners and emails.
• Handle marketing administration, proof‑reading, competitor monitoring and media barter negotiations.
• Liaise with external suppliers including PR agencies, designers, digital agencies and printers.
• Support research projects on customer satisfaction and assist with onsite marketing activities during events.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English with strong written communication skills.
• Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the energy or investment sector.
• Dynamic, results‑oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
