Franchise Principal / Senior Financial Advisor

About the role

The Franchise Principal / Senior Financial Advisor will lead the Gauteng franchise of Moving Heads Personnel, overseeing day‑to‑day operations while driving revenue growth and client acquisition. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales manager or senior advisor seeking principal‑level experience in a remote or hybrid setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage franchise governance, risk management, and operational controls.
• Recruit, develop, and lead financial advisors and support staff.
• Implement revenue‑generation, client acquisition, and retention strategies.
• Maintain Fit‑and‑Proper status in line with FAIS regulations.
• Oversee product governance across investments, risk, retirement, and wealth solutions.
• Embed Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles throughout operations.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom Finance, Investment Management, Economics, or similar).
• RE1 examination – advantageous; RE5 – compulsory where applicable.
• Fit‑and‑Proper status per FAIS requirements.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial services.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, and related financial legislation.
