About the role

Join the Business Bank team to turn strong franchise ideas into bankable businesses. You will work closely with South Africa’s leading franchise brands, helping entrepreneurs secure the funding they need to open, grow, and own successful ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Control the franchise funding pipeline by hunting and closing opportunities that expand the Business Bank’s franchise portfolio.
• Prepare end‑to‑end funding applications for franchise clients, from initial discussion through approval.
• Assess the commercial and financial strength of franchise businesses and ownership changes.
• Collaborate with franchisors, franchisees, and internal teams to gather, verify, and analyse information.
• Use established benchmarks and tools to ensure deals are consistent, practical, and well‑motivated.
• Prepare clear credit proposals and communicate outcomes and conditions to clients.
• Monitor quality, turnaround times, and client experience throughout the process.

Required profile

• High‑energy, results‑driven professional with strong communication skills.
• Confident engaging and influencing franchise operators.
• Experience in credit assessment, financial analysis, and business deal structuring.
• Proven ability to prepare and motivate credit applications end‑to‑end.
• Comfortable working with business clients and multiple stakeholders.
• Clear criminal and credit record, valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
