Forklift Technician – Cape Town

About the role
An opportunity to provide technical and diagnostic assistance within the service department, supporting both on‑site customer locations and the workshop.
Key responsibilities
- Repair, service and maintain internal combustion and electric forklifts on‑site and in the workshop.
- Complete job cards using the PhoneApp.
- Communicate with managers, the call centre and customers.
- Perform housekeeping and clean maintenance areas daily.
- Assist with general maintenance activities and travel as required.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience servicing and repairing electric lift trucks.
- Diesel, auto‑electric or forklift trade test certificate.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to communicate with customers at all levels.
- Adherence to SHE requirements and self‑motivated work style.
Required skills
- Electric lift‑truck servicing.

- Auto‑electrical system troubleshooting.

- Basic mechanical systems knowledge.
