About the role

The Capital Hotels is seeking enthusiastic Food & Beverage Waiters to deliver exceptional service across its restaurant, room service, and function areas. You will be part of a culture that values dignity, integrity, and rapid recognition of talent.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, fast, and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of front‑of‑house areas and stock rooms.
• Assist with room service orders and, when required, support function catering.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, fellow team members, and guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues calmly under pressure.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Previous restaurant experience is essential.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving attitude and ability to stay calm during busy periods.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication, honesty, and trustworthiness.
• Attention to detail, presentable appearance, and clear speech.
• Proactive, interpersonal, and able to work rotating shifts.
