Floor Supervisor – 40hr Shift

About the role

The Floor Supervisor will support the store management team at JD Sports Mall of Africa, leading the floor team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence. This full‑time position works a 40‑hour week in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist store management in providing strong leadership to the floor team.
• Ensure operational excellence through a customer‑centric mindset.
• Motivate staff, allocate time effectively, and manage multiple priorities.
• Oversee merchandise presentation and visual standards.
• Drive performance against store KPIs such as turnover, rewards, new accounts and visual compliance.
• Implement the customer service strategy to achieve high satisfaction.
• Participate in strategic sales planning and manage the sales process.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
• High flexibility and ability to adapt to diverse customers and situations.
• Strong sense of urgency, capable of working independently.
• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
