Floor Supervisor – 40hr Retail Leadership Role

About the role

Provide leadership to the store team at Sportscene, ensuring operational excellence and a customer‑centric mindset. The Floor Supervisor will drive performance against key store KPIs and support the store management team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the store management team by providing outstanding leadership to the store team.
• Ensure execution of operational excellence with a customer‑centric focus.
• Generate high levels of motivation and commitment among staff.
• Allocate time effectively, handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties.
• Provide input and manage merchandise and visual presentation principles.
• Drive performance through store KPIs such as turnover, rewards, new accounts and visual standards.
• Execute the customer service strategy to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead strategic sales planning and manage the sales process.
• Deliver customer value management initiatives.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, including at least 1 year in a store leadership role.
• High flexibility and ability to adapt to different customers and situations.
• Strong sense of urgency, ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer‑centric solutions.
