Floor Supervisor (40hr) – @Home – Canal Walk

About the role

The Floor Supervisor supports the store management team in delivering excellent customer service and operational efficiency on the sales floor. Working 40 hours per week, the role balances hands‑on floor duties with administrative tasks to ensure the store meets its performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide continuous feedback to the Store Manager on floor improvements and customer experience.
• Greet customers promptly, ensure staff are attentive, and monitor individual sales performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge across all assigned departments.
• Enter customer orders accurately and oversee shelf stocking, reporting shortages for re‑ordering.
• Monitor stock levels throughout the day, replenish as needed, and ensure correct pricing and labeling.
• Identify and remove damaged stock, documenting discrepancies.
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Plan and adjust shift schedules, ensuring team members follow assigned hours.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of retail or administrative experience.
• Proven ability to drive sales and increase store profitability.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast‑paced retail environment.
