Flexi Store Assistant – Luxury Retail

About the role

We are looking for a flexible Store Assistant to join our luxury retail team at Canal Walk. You will deliver world‑class service, help customers find the perfect products and support smooth store operations in a high‑end fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cash desk duties accurately, following daily cash control and banking procedures.
• Handle manual transactions and ensure zero variances.
• Execute daily stock procedures, conduct weekly stock counts and maintain storeroom organisation.
• Assist with customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Provide premium customer service with expert product knowledge and personalised assistance.
• Uphold the brand’s luxury standards through professionalism and enthusiasm.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• 6 months to 1 year retail experience, preferably in luxury or fashion retail.
• Passion for high‑end fashion, footwear and customer engagement.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and peak trading hours.

Required skills

• Strong numerical ability and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Detail‑oriented mindset to maintain brand standards.
• Team player with ability to build relationships with customers.
