Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will ensure the Business Unit plans, forecasts and tracks its performance on a monthly basis. You will coordinate finance teams, analyse results, and drive continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate CBU and DBS finance teams on monthly forecasting, rolling forecasts and closing activities.
• Consolidate inputs (top‑line, operations, fixed costs, OIE, cash) to produce P&L and balance‑sheet reports.
• Maintain secure, organized business information for actuals and forecasts.
• Prepare CO bridge, ROP variance, free‑cash‑flow and WK bridge analyses, highlighting drivers and gaps.
• Supervise analysis of sales force costs, head‑office overheads and productivity initiatives.
• Implement dashboards after each forecast update and provide ad‑hoc P&L analyses.
• Ensure accurate reporting of dairy actuals and RF reporting packs, liaising with Africa MCO finance team.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, KPIs, forecasting methodology and BI tools.
• Coach and develop the finance team, set goals and provide performance feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master of Commerce in Accounting; honours or CIMA qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years experience as a Business Controller or Business Planning Manager in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
• Experience in multinational companies and budget building/control.
• Logistics or supply‑chain exposure is advantageous.
