About the role

We are seeking a sharp, analytical finance professional to join a dynamic property and real‑estate organisation. The Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist (Business Controller) will act as a strategic partner to operational teams, shaping budgets, forecasts and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and performance reports for various business entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, clearly explaining performance drivers.
• Serve as the primary finance liaison for operational teams, providing proactive financial insights.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor financial trends, identify risks and opportunities for value creation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, controls and reporting infrastructure.
• Assist in system optimisation initiatives related to the core ERP and reporting tools.
• Develop sophisticated financial models to project future performance scenarios.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Finance, FP&A or Management Accounting.
• Relevant Finance or Accounting degree.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and proactive problem‑solving.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex data into business‑focused insights.
• Solid understanding of core financial reporting principles.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel with financial modelling capabilities.
• Hands‑on experience with an established ERP system.
