Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co is seeking a proactive Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to lead the finance planning, analysis and controlling function for the South Africa market. You will be responsible for forecasting results, managing budgets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and US GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver an integrated 3‑year financial plan aligned with the Group’s Growth Blueprint.
• Develop and maintain the South Africa financial planning model and oversee the annual financial plan and forecasts.
• Execute monthly and quarterly GP close procedures, providing management accounts and variance analysis to senior leadership.
• Train wholesale, retail and cost‑center managers on submission templates and ensure timely, accurate data collection.
• Analyse financial risks and opportunities to support decision‑making and prepare presentation decks for cluster finance meetings.
• Submit the Annual Financial Plan and forecasts into Essbase for consolidation and support special projects that improve financial efficiency.
• Monitor key performance indicators, track project financials, and complete valuation models for major initiatives.
• Liaise with treasury, tax, HR and supply‑chain teams to align inputs across affiliate, cluster and Group planning.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification – minimum a bachelor’s degree.
• Professional accounting designation such as CIMA or Chartered Accountant.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting and reporting within a multinational environment.
