Financial Manager

About the role

A leading motor dealership in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join its management team. This position offers the chance to oversee the full financial function of a dynamic automotive business and to drive financial performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and comprehensive financial reports.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, financial forecasting and profitability analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation and statutory requirements.
• Oversee debtors, creditors, payroll, and asset control processes.
• Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.
• Liaise with auditors and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance or Financial Management.
• Minimum 3 years of financial management experience within the motor industry.
• Strong dealership accounting background and solid bookkeeping knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Valid South African driver’s licence and clear criminal record.
