About the role

We are a growing Cape Town‑based financial services firm seeking a commercially minded CA(SA) to join us as a Financial Manager. This role offers genuine strategic exposure, direct visibility with senior leadership, and long‑term growth potential in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with the CFO to support strategic finance, forecasting, and IFRS reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial models that influence business decisions and growth initiatives.
• Manage treasury, risk, tax, and funding structures while ensuring compliance with corporate finance standards.
• Provide insight and analysis on large data sets to drive performance improvements.
• Lead cross‑functional finance projects and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification – non‑negotiable.
• Minimum 3 years post‑articles experience in a financial services environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to think beyond numbers.
• Adaptable, quick learner who thrives in a high‑growth, changing environment.
• Leadership potential and a desire to build a long‑term career in high performance.

Required skills

• IFRS and financial reporting expertise.
• Advanced financial/business modelling capability.
• Experience working with large data sets and modelling tools.
