Financial Manager – Eastern Cape

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead the finance function for a manufacturing organisation operating in the Eastern Cape. The role offers full ownership of financial reporting, governance, controls and continuous improvement in a fast‑paced, structured environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review the Annual Financial Statements (AFS).
- Manage the month‑end close and produce timely financial reports.
- Monitor and oversee day‑to‑day finance operations.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls.
- Liaise with external auditors and coordinate the audit process.
- Identify and implement process improvements across the finance function.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis activities.
Required profile
- BCom Honours in Accounting.
- Minimum eight years of experience in a comparable finance role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with IFRS.
- Proven ability to work in a highly structured, fast‑moving environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of IFRS standards.
