About the role
Take control of the finance and administration function in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, ensuring strong financial controls, efficient day‑to‑day operations, effective data analytics, and accurate, timely reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Accurate and timely preparation and analytical review of financial reports and performance.
- Inventory mass balance and investigation of stock variances and obsolete stock.
- Preparation and submission of statutory returns.
- Ensuring business processes mitigate risk and maintain strong internal controls.
- Supervising staff to meet deadlines.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CIMA or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Residency within Durban North area.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong experience with ERP accounting software.
What we offer
- Salary range R 25,000 – R 35,000 (CTC).
- Provident Fund at 11.94% of CTC.
- Study assistance subject to manager approval.
