Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will oversee the accounting and financial operations of Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, ensuring accurate financial records, timely invoicing, and reliable reporting to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end closing, preparing balance‑sheet and income‑statement reviews.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of bank and loan accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register with accurate recording and completeness.
• Prepare journals, accruals, provisions, and reclassification entries.
• Ensure revenue recognition aligns with institutional policies.
• Extract weekly revenue reports and provide analytical insights for financial planning.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial statements.
• File VAT and tax returns in full compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage student accounts in Salesforce, overseeing invoicing, payment allocation, and status updates.
