Financial Controller

About the role

Our client, a high‑performing organisation in a dynamic environment, is seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to own the full finance function. The role will ensure financial integrity, optimise processes and support strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee full financial close processes (monthly, quarterly and annually).
• Ensure accuracy of reconciliations, financial records and trial balances.
• Maintain compliance with IFRS standards and tax regulations.
• Lead and support audit processes, liaising with external auditors.
• Oversee cash flow management, banking and treasury operations.
• Manage and develop finance teams and overall financial functions.
• Handle intercompany transactions and ensure accurate reporting.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Drive financial consolidations across entities.

Required profile

• BCom degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles.
• Minimum 3 + years post‑articles experience.
• 3‑5 years of management experience.
