Financial Controller – GL Management & Compliance

About the role

Coca‑Cola Beverages South Africa is seeking a Financial Controller focused on General Ledger (GL) Management and Compliance. Reporting to the Business Process Lead IBS Finance, the role ensures the integrity of statutory reporting, financial statements and governance of GL processes while supporting working‑capital optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely statutory reports and financial statements.
• Maintain a robust governance framework for all GL activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide analytical insights to improve working capital and support business decisions.
• Collaborate with internal finance teams, auditors and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience in financial management, preferably in statutory reporting and audit coordination.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Finance or Accounting, CA(SA) or equivalent professional designation.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP financial accounting systems.
• Advanced knowledge of financial accounting systems and reporting tools.
