Financial Consultant (Katlehong)

About the role

Old Mutual is hiring a Financial Consultant in Katlehong. The consultant provides excellent client service and financial education and achieves targets by marketing and selling Old Mutual and other products, working independently and being personally accountable for results.

Key responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales targets for lending and other products.
• Meet collections and arrears targets for lending products.
• Educate clients on responsible use of credit and effective money management.
• Build a new business pipeline through marketing, lead generation and tracking.
• Follow internal, regulatory and legislative governance to ensure quality business and mitigate risk.
• Facilitate intra-branch referrals by building mutually beneficial relationships with other business units.
• Provide excellent face-to-face and telephonic customer service and build sustainable relationships that enhance the brand.
• Deliver on daily production standards and adhere to service and quality standards.

Required profile

• NQF Level 4 qualification, Grade 12 school leaving certificate, National or Occupational Certificate or equivalent (required).
• Competencies listed include stakeholder balancing, networking, effective communication, customer focus, accountability, trust-building and interpersonal savvy.
