Financial Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Business Partner to provide strategic financial support across multiple dealership operations in the Western Cape. The role acts as the bridge between finance and operations, delivering commercial insights, analysis, and governance to drive profitability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes for all dealerships.
• Prepare rolling forecasts, identify financial risks and opportunities, and analyse monthly management accounts.
• Deliver commercial insights and financial modelling to support business decisions.
• Partner with dealership management to improve operational and financial performance across sales, after‑sales, parts, warranties and service.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, support growth initiatives and strategic projects.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, debtor/creditor performance, stock funding and working‑capital optimisation.
• Strengthen financial controls, identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor finance teams, provide training to operational departments and promote consistency in reporting standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Business Partner or similar finance role.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and IFRS compliance.
• Ability to analyse profitability across multiple business areas and deliver actionable insights.
• Experience supporting operational teams and driving continuous improvement.
