Financial Assistant – Full‑time Permanent Role

About the role

Join a busy finance team in Centurion where accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail make a real impact. The Financial Assistant will support day‑to‑day finance functions, working closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, clients and financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Process client invoicing and credit notes in multiple currencies.
• Assist with creditor reconciliations and allocations.
• Perform basic bookkeeping activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Support monthly financial reporting processes.
• Update expense reports, asset registers, and stock records.
• Prepare documentation for banks and other institutions.
• Assist with various finance and administrative tasks as required.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across financial records and transactions.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant finance or bookkeeping experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Recent experience using Pastel or Sage Evolution.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Reliable, honest, and professional approach.
