Financial Advisor – Life Insurance & Investments

About the role

This position is a pure sales role focused on selling the organisation's existing suite of risk and investment products. You will prospect, advise, close and grow a personal portfolio of individual, business and high‑net‑worth clients across Gauteng and surrounding provinces.

Key responsibilities

• Sell life cover, disability, income protection and critical illness products to individuals and businesses.
• Sell unit trusts, endowments, retirement annuities, living annuities and alternative investments to individual and high‑net‑worth clients.
• Prospect actively to expand your client base and meet strict monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Conduct needs‑based client engagements to match customers with appropriate existing solutions.
• Manage and service an existing book to maintain persistency and reduce lapses.
• Ensure full compliance with FSCA, FAIS and TCF regulatory requirements.
• Leverage the organisation's digital platform, adviser app and product specialist support to maximise efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a risk adviser with an active book.
• Demonstrated monthly commission of R50,000+ for three consecutive months.
• Annual premium under management of at least R300,000.
• NQF Level 5 financial qualification and FAIS compliance (RE5) or equivalent FSCA‑recognised tertiary qualification.
• CFP designation is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Entrepreneurial drive and hunger to grow a personal book of business.
