Financial Advisor (Field‑Based)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, client‑focused Financial Advisor to join our growing team in Centurion. You will build and maintain a portfolio of clients by delivering holistic financial planning and advice, meeting them face‑to‑face to understand their objectives and recommend suitable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new business through networking, referrals and business‑development activities.
• Conduct face‑to‑face financial needs analyses and develop tailored financial plans.
• Provide advice on life insurance, investment, retirement, risk, disability, income protection and estate planning.
• Prepare quotations, financial plans and product recommendations.
• Maintain accurate client records, CRM updates and ensure timely documentation.
• Stay compliant with FAIS, FICA, POPIA and other regulatory requirements.
• Achieve new‑business and client‑retention targets.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) and RE5 Representative Qualification.
• NQF Level 5 qualification with at least 120 FAIS credits.
• Registered as Fit and Proper under FAIS.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Financial Advisor with a proven sales track record.
• Valid South African driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Advantageous: CFP designation, wealth‑management experience, existing client network.
