About the role

Join Old Mutual Personal Financial Advice as a Financial Advisor and help clients turn their financial aspirations into reality. You will work with individuals and families, providing tailored advice, managing investments, and guiding them toward long‑term financial freedom.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture lasting client relationships through prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and recommend appropriate Old Mutual products.
• Become accredited in Old Mutual Personal Financial Advice solutions to serve specific client segments.
• Follow compliance processes, adhere to FAIS regulations and maintain up‑to‑date CPD points.
• Apply the proven 6‑step planning process to deliver life‑changing financial advice.
• Monitor economic, political and regulatory trends to provide current, cutting‑edge guidance.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• At least 18 months of experience in financial services, sales, client service or advisory roles.
• Fit‑and‑proper status with a clear criminal and credit record.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Strong communication, planning and analytical abilities.
• Passion for helping clients and confidence to consult and influence.
