Financial Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

Join a fast‑growing manufacturing business on the East Rand as a Financial Accountant. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decision‑making in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare annual financial statements.
• Manage VAT and tax compliance, including submissions.
• Post journals and perform reconciliations.
• Oversee income‑statement preparation and analysis.
• Maintain and review the balance sheet.

Required profile

• BCom Accounting qualification.
• SAICA or SAIPA articles completed.
• Minimum 3 years post‑articles experience.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing sector.
