About the role
Our client is looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a family‑oriented team in Pretoria. The role offers the chance to work across the full accounting cycle, develop financial statements and support external audits while building a long‑term career.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
- Draft and finalise financial statements in accordance with applicable standards.
- Prepare month‑end reports and analyse variances.
- Capture, allocate and reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
Required profile
- B.Com Accounting degree (B.Com Honours is an advantage).
- Completed Articles (SAIPA/SAICA) with 1‑2 years post‑article experience.
- Fluent communication in Afrikaans.
Required skills
- General Ledger maintenance.
- Financial statement preparation.
- Month‑end reporting.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Audit support and documentation.
