About the role
Wood South Africa is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage contract month‑end close activities within its ERP system. The role ensures that financial results are accurately reported and thoroughly analysed, supporting the company’s operations across Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Execute contract month‑end close processes in the ERP system.
- Prepare and verify accurate financial reports for each contract.
- Analyse reported financial results to identify variances and insights.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather necessary financial data.
- Support audit processes by providing required documentation.
Required profile
- Proven global experience working in Africa.
- Background in the mining, construction or manufacturing industries.
- Solid foundation in financial accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems for financial processing.
