Financial Accountant – Centurion

About the role

Join a well‑established organisation in Centurion as a Financial Accountant. You will be immersed in a fast‑paced finance environment where your attention to detail and analytical thinking directly support business success and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Process journal entries, accruals and perform site reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile supplier and customer accounts, and follow up on collections.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare bank reconciliations and support working‑capital management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, submit VAT, PAYE and other statutory returns.
• Support external audits and provide required documentation.
• Produce management reports, identify financial trends and suggest cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain strong internal controls and mitigate financial risks.

Required profile

• BCom in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Completed 3‑year articles and 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations and budgeting.
• Professional registration (SAICA, SAIPA, CIMA or ACCA) is advantageous.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and ability to work under pressure.
