Finance Operations Business Partner

About the role

The Finance Operations Business Partner will work closely with operational teams to provide financial insights that drive performance and cost optimisation. This role combines commercial finance, FP&A, and business partnering to support strategic decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with operational teams, delivering financial analysis, forecasts and recommendations to improve business performance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts and management presentations.
• Conduct profitability, cost and variance analyses, including COGS and inventory assessments.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify cost‑saving opportunities and support process‑improvement initiatives.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with procurement, supply‑chain and operations on cost management and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance operations, commercial finance, FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Strong commercial awareness, especially in FMCG, manufacturing, retail or supply‑chain environments.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently across multiple departments.
