Finance Manager (Residential Estate)

About the role

The Pecanwood Estate Homeowners Association is looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to lead its financial operations. This senior‑level position will oversee budgeting, reporting and compliance for a prestigious residential estate.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day financial operations of the Association.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Oversee debtors, creditors, billing, reconciliations and internal financial controls.
• Lead the annual audit process and ensure statutory compliance.
• Maintain the organisation’s financial health and sustainability.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, insurance brokers and other external stakeholders.
• Provide financial guidance to Management, the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors.
• Supervise and develop the Finance Department team.
• Assist with long‑term financial planning and reserve‑fund management.
• Ensure compliance with SARS, VAT, payroll and all relevant legislation.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience as a Financial Manager.
• Strong accounting knowledge and proven leadership abilities.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with financial management software.
• Knowledge of ClubMaster systems (advantageous).
