Finance Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Join a leading manufacturing giant in Cape Town as a Finance Manager, where you will work side‑by‑side with operational teams to ensure financial decisions directly support production targets and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full finance function, including preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital optimisation.
• Oversee tax, VAT and statutory compliance.
• Deliver accurate financial reporting and actionable business insights.
• Strengthen financial controls and continuously improve finance processes.
• Partner with operational teams to enhance business performance.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• SAIPA‑registered Professional Accountant (SA) qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years post‑articles.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Commercial mindset with excellent analytical and decision‑making skills.
