Finance Manager – Management Reporting

About the role

The Finance Manager – Management Reporting will act as the costing expert for the organisation, providing financial due diligence, operating‑cost analysis and budgeting support to drive strategic decisions and improve profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Own costing models, systems and methodologies; benchmark and improve current processes with operations and continuous‑improvement teams.
• Analyse operational processes, perform scenario planning and identify cost‑driver optimisation opportunities.
• Design and enhance SAP profit‑centre and cost‑centre structures to improve data accessibility for decision‑making.
• Manage monthly SAP costing runs, ensure data completeness, resolve errors and produce final reports.
• Maintain cost‑centre integrity, oversee merging/clean‑up activities and enhance reporting standards.
• Produce and enhance costing and business reports to support optimal decisions.
• Partner with Operations to eliminate waste and define the optimal operating model.
• Assist departments in compiling operating‑cost budgets, consolidate departmental budgets and ensure SAP capture according to group guidelines.
• Support long‑term Capex forecasts, borrowing‑cost budgeting, forex budgeting and Capital Portfolio Management Framework implementation.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance, costing and budgeting within a large, complex organisation.
• Proven experience managing SAP cost‑accounting modules and financial reporting.
• Analytical mindset with ability to conduct scenario planning and drive process improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across finance, operations and project teams.
