Finance & Insurance Manager

About the role

A leading automotive dealership group is seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance Manager to lead its F&I department. You will work closely with sales teams and finance houses to deliver tailored finance and insurance solutions for vehicle buyers while ensuring compliance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange finance and insurance solutions for vehicle buyers.
• Submit finance applications and liaise with banks and financial institutions.
• Ensure full compliance with FAIS, FICA, NCA and dealership policies.
• Sell value‑added products such as warranties, service and maintenance plans.
• Maximise F&I profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and complete all finance and insurance documentation accurately.
• Build strong relationships with customers, sales executives and finance houses.
• Achieve monthly F&I targets and maintain high conversion ratios.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Finance & Insurance Manager in the motor industry.
• Experience with dealerships handling brands such as Suzuki, Volvo, Hyundai or similar.
• NQF 4 FAIS qualification, RE accreditation and NCA accreditation.
• Proven track record of meeting F&I targets.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage high vehicle volumes.
• Valid South African driver’s licence and clear criminal record.
• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FAIS, FICA and NCA compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship abilities.
• Ability to analyse finance applications and assess risk.
