About the role
The Finance & Data Operations Specialist will support a high‑performing team by turning raw data into actionable insights that drive commercial decisions and growth. This role blends financial reporting, budgeting, KPI development and process automation in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage accurate internal financial reporting and budgeting cycles.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI trackers across multiple business units.
- Analyse performance data, identify variances and provide recommendations.
- Support operational finance tasks such as invoicing, commission tracking, collections reporting and expense controls.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve data quality, reporting integrity and controls.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance speed and quality of analysis and reporting.
- Prepare board, investor and stakeholder reports and design scalable finance processes.
Required profile
- Relevant finance, commercial, consulting or data analytics background.
- CA(SA) qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant corporate or consulting experience.
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel or spreadsheet modelling.
