Finance Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Administrator to provide accurate and efficient financial and administrative support to our finance department. You will ensure timely processing of transactions, maintain precise records, and help keep day‑to‑day financial operations running smoothly in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and customer transactions.
• Capture and allocate payments and receipts.
• Reconcile supplier, customer and bank accounts.
• Prepare payment schedules and assist with payment processing.
• Follow up on outstanding accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with debtors and creditors administration.
• Prepare and process journals as required.
• Support month‑end reporting and financial close processes.
• Assist with VAT and other compliance requirements.
• Maintain organised electronic and physical filing systems.
• Provide data entry into the accounting system and support audits.
• Offer general finance and administrative assistance to the team.

Required profile

• Grade 12 with a relevant Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in finance administration, creditors, debtors or accounting support.
• Experience in FMCG, retail or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Professional, reliable and methodical work approach.
• Capability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
