Feature Analyst / Business Analyst – Cross‑Border Payments

About the role

We are a Johannesburg‑based financial services firm seeking an experienced Feature Analyst / Business Analyst to enhance our cross‑border payment capabilities. You will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to translate complex requirements into actionable features that support international transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document business requirements for cross‑border and international payment processes.
• Convert requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to deliver payment features.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, compliance, and banking standards for international payments.
• Participate in solution design, testing, and implementation support.
• Identify opportunities to improve payment workflows, efficiency, and customer experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Feature Analyst in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of cross‑border payments, SWIFT, international transfers, or correspondent banking.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, analyse processes, and produce clear documentation.
• Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
