Factory Manager – Shop Fitting

About the role

The Factory Manager will lead daily manufacturing operations at our Randburg facility, ensuring that shop‑fitting projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This full‑time, on‑site position requires strong coordination with project, design, and procurement teams to meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to achieve delivery targets.
• Supervise factory staff, enforce health and safety standards, and maintain equipment.
• Optimize workflows, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
• Track performance metrics, resolve operational issues, and manage budgets.
• Collaborate with project, design, and procurement teams to align resources with project requirements.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience in a manufacturing or shop‑fitting environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality control, and operations management.
• Ability to analyse data, manage budgets, and use production reporting tools.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements in a workshop setting.
