Factory Manager

About the role

Screen Graphics (Pty) Ltd is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Factory Manager to own the day‑to‑day operations of its Durban plant. This hands‑on leader will drive performance, efficiency and discipline across a fast‑paced factory producing digitally printed and fabricated branded products.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of factory operations and production performance.
• Manage production activities across digital printing, dye‑sublimation, UV printing, heat pressing, cutting, sewing, assembly, fabrication and dispatch.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery commitments are met.
• Improve production flow, efficiency and output while reducing waste, rework and overtime.
• Optimise scheduling using Experdyte and eliminate bottlenecks.
• Establish and enforce KPI‑driven processes and operating standards.
• Drive accountability at supervisor and operator levels and address performance gaps.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, applying Lean Manufacturing principles.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Factory Manager or similar senior production role.
• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in a relevant industrial discipline.

Required skills

• Digital printing, dye‑sublimation printing, UV printing.
• Heat pressing, cutting, sewing, assembly, fabrication.
• Production scheduling software (Experdyte).
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
