Facilities Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading international blue‑chip organisation, is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee hard and soft facilities services across multiple national sites. This full‑time position offers the chance to drive operational excellence, manage budgets and lead improvement projects in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage facilities operations across several locations nationwide.
• Ensure delivery of hard and soft services in line with client standards.
• Oversee maintenance programmes, service providers and contractor performance.
• Control budgets, monitor costs and improve operational efficiencies.
• Lead facilities improvement projects while ensuring health, safety and statutory compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering qualification or strong mechanical background.
• Minimum 7 years experience as a Facilities Manager (non‑negotiable).
• Proven experience managing both hard and soft facilities services.
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites across South Africa.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.
• Valid driver’s licence and excellent communication skills.
